Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had pockets full of rocks. Smooth river stones, glittering quartz, mysterious black pebbles—if a rock caught my eye, I had to pick it up. I didn’t question why. I knew some rocks seemed to find me, and I couldn’t leave them behind.

I know I’m not alone. Some people walk through life without ever noticing the ground beneath their feet, while others—like me—are natural rock collectors. We see a flash of color, an unusual shape, or a texture that begs to be touched, and suddenly, we’re bending down, reaching out, cradling a tiny piece of the earth’s magic in our hands.

But why do certain rocks call to us? Maybe it’s their energy, their ancient wisdom, or just the sheer beauty of nature’s artwork. Maybe it’s a deep, instinctual connection—something in our bones telling us that these little treasures matter.
